FAQ
Before arrival, we will send you the notice for online check-in via email. On site, you encode your room card at the check-in kiosk or open the door via app. From arrival to the room takes about three minutes. No concierge, no paperwork — intentionally.
Check-in is possible around the clock — 365 days a year, even at night, on holidays, at Christmas. No surcharge for late arrival. The room is guaranteed to you from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival; earlier if available. Requirement: Your room is booked and the check-in code sent.
Check-out by 11:00 AM. Deposit the room card at the kiosk and leave — no line, no form. Late check-out is possible upon request if your room is not immediately reassigned.
Call our guest service — available 24/7 for emergencies. We will resend the information to you by email and remotely open the system. In the room, you will also find an emergency info card with the direct number.
Honest answer: no — not intentionally. If you expect concierge, room service, or on-site bar/restaurant operations, you are in the wrong place with us. Instead, you get: 24h self check-in via kiosk, telephone guest service 365 days a year, a functional double room directly on the Rhine with access to the shore, free parking directly in front of the motel, Stein-Säckingen train station in an 8-minute walk and the A3 motorway in 5 minutes by car — at a fair price because staff costs are not included in the room rate.
